The government has made a political deal about a long-term reopening plan. This means that the universities will be allowed to reopen on a limited scale in the course of April. This will make it possible to meet in study groups and to use study facilities and libraries, etc., on campus.
Students are only allowed to be on campus for exams or classes that cannot be converted to online. Employees must work from home unless they perfrom critical tasks. Read the Danish authorities joint website for COVID-19 information.
Being a student enrolled at UCPH is not recognized as a “worthy purpose” for entering Denmark. Students with a valid residence permit are allowed to enter Denmark.
As of 3 February 2021 and for the following 4 weeks, the Danish Immigration Service (SIRI) will not be issuing student visas/residence permits unless you are already a legally resident in Denmark.
