From Wednesday 5 May, all students and PhD students have access to reading rooms, group rooms, common areas and libraries. PhD students can use their offices. However, there will still be limited face-to-face teaching and exams on campus.
Access for students
Campus is open for ordinary study activities only and not for social or academic events. To get access, a valid student card/UCPH ID card is required. The reopening does not change how exams will be conducted. Most courses and exams up towards the summer holiday will continue to be online.
Access for employees
There is still no access for administrative staff, technical staff and academic staff who can work from home. They will only have access to campus by agreement with their manager when they need to solve specific tasks that require in-person attendance on campus. UCPH will announce when more employees can return to campus.
Access for others
Like everyone else on campus, guests and people outside of the University – for example workmen and external suppliers – must comply with the health authorities’ general rules on distancing, disinfection and wearing face masks or visors.
Being a student enrolled at UCPH is not recognized as a “worthy purpose” for entering Denmark. Students with a valid residence permit are allowed to enter Denmark.
As of 3 February 2021 and for the following 4 weeks, the Danish Immigration Service (SIRI) will not be issuing student visas/residence permits unless you are already a legally resident in Denmark.
